Bierkreek awards
It’s not because we like to brag, but rather that we take pride in the awards and recognition we have received over the years. The wall of our retail shop is beginning to fill up!
Recently, we added a new prize to our wall. It’s that of the second must durable brand in The Netherlands! You can read more about it on this website http://www.allesduurzaam.nl/
At International Plant Festivals we have received several prizes:
At Hex (Belgium) we received awards in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2009 it was “Award With Honors”. In 2010 we were awarded the “Special Prize of The Jury”.
In Bingerden we received prizes in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2011 we received prices in various categories including the “Prize Of The Press”, the “Assortment Prize” and the best “woody crop”. This was for the rose “Tawny Tiger” bred by Gareth Fryer.
In Beervelde (October 2009) our rose “R. roxburgii var. Normalis” received a prize for its beautiful hips and autumn color.
There was recognition in 2006 when we won the "Ei van Columbus". This is a prestigious award for innovation and sustainability, which is organized by eight ministries. The award comes with a trophy plus a cash prize of 12,500 euro
In 2005 we received an honorable mention from the province of Zeeland at the presentation of the provincial environmental award for the period of 2003-2004
In 2004 we received a nomination for the Anna-Prize. This is an incentive award that is given by the Platform Biologica for the use and promotion of nature within a company.
Also in 2004 we received an honorable mention at the presentation of the CSR incentive award from the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, LOT-Netherlands and the Dutch food industry VAI.
